Classroom Studies

First and Second year classroom courses through the year.

 

First Year Classroom Studies consist of:

  • Grace School of Ministry students will partake of, on average, 12 hours of GSOM weekly as part of their scheduling.
  • Evangelism Prep the how to of soul-winning.
  • Global Perspective an up to date look at current world events, a look at missions and missionaries in various nations of the world, team-building and missions preparation.
  • Media Studies a class designed to teach website design and management, film and video editing, sound engineering, graphics design, camera training, and various other skills that are needed for the workings of media.
  • Character Class a look at sixty biblical character traits that should be displayed in the life of any believer.
  • Guys/Girls Discipleship Class an in depth interactive class dealing with issues specific to the needs of both genders, Godly relationships, practical question and answer, etc.
  • Creative Track Dance/Drama, Event or Big Day Preparation, etc, and just about all things creative in arenas of outreach and church ministry.
  • Ministry Practical the how to of Christian church ministry, from how to study the Bible to creating object lessons, clowning, puppetry, ballooning, face-painting, how to put a teaching together, deliver a testimony, ministry etiquette, developing a new ministry and its ministry guidelines, administration and time management, and a host of other practical workings of departments in-house.
  • Scripture Memory first years are required to memorise 250 scriptures in the course of the year.
  • Disciplined Life Class a detailed look at the disciplines that should be present in the life of a true disciple of Jesus Christ and an endeavour to understanding why we do what we do as Christians, and the biblical precedent behind our practices.
  • Servanthood a chance for students to serve the ministries of Grace Fellowship in a practical manner.
  • On Location Teaching a chance every week to travel out to a location, usually both beautiful and historical, where an inspirational teaching relating to the location is given on site.

Second Year Classroom Studies consist of:

  • Grace School of Ministry students will partake of, on average, 12 hours of GSOM weekly as part of their scheduling.

  • Leadership Class a practical look at the Godly character that should be seen in the life of a leader and the qualities that are essential for longevity in the ministry, endabling ministers and leaders to finish strong, the race and call set before them.
  • Guys/Girls Discipleship Class an in depth interactive class dealing with issues specific to the needs of both genders, Godly relationships, practical question and answer, etc.
  • Creative Track Dance/Drama, Event or Big Day Preparation, etc, and just about all things creative in arenas of outreach and church ministry.

  • Scripture Memory first years are required to memorise 200 scriptures in the course of the year.
  • Leadership Studies two leadership courses for personal study are assigned during the course of the year: Developing the Leader Within You (John Maxwell) and Becoming a Leader (Myles Munroe)
  • Servanthood a chance for students to serve the ministries of Grace Fellowship in a practical manner.
  • On Location Teaching a chance every week to travel out to a location, usually both beautiful and historical, where an inspirational teaching relating to the location is given on site.
  • Foundation Classes each second year will be required to teach to the first year class, 10 Foundational Teachings on basic Christian doctrine, enabling them to gain experience in the personal delivery of the Word.
  • Ministry Preparation (Clubs) - each second year will be responsible to one or more ministry heads and/or children/youth club leaders to organize that weeks ministry preparation and whatever is required, practically, for that weeks activities, allocating jobs for the first years placed within that club and those that are under their care.

      • Nike Kids (6-7:30pm)
    • Friday:
      • One Way Clue (6-7:30pm)
      • Y-Zup (7:30-9pm)
      • Intense - Recreation (8:30 onward)
  • Grace Fellowship Church Schedule:
    • Sunday at 11am and 7pm
    • Wednesday at 8pm
  • Affiliate Church Meetings:
    • Athlone: Thursday 8pm/ Sunday 11am
    • Enniscorthy: Thursday 7:30pm/ Sunday 11am
    • Moville: Tuesday 8pm/ Sunday 11am
