Spiritual Preparedness

We are looking for students who have a serious desire for the things of God and a heart that hungers for intimacy with Jesus, to be a part of Master’s Commission Ireland- Europe. Every candidate is required to submit a letter of recommendation from his/her pastor. For an individual to be considered for Master’s Commission, it must be evident to spiritual leaders within their home church that the prospective candidate has indeed accepted Christ into his/her heart and is conducting his/her life according to Christian principles. During the ten month programme, no dating is permitted for first year students. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that this initial year of Master’s Commission is set aside for Jesus, and Jesus alone. Young ladies and men are, in essence, giving Christ ten months of their lives without distraction. Our ultimate goal here at Master’s Commission is to see each graduate leave with a wholehearted, intimate relationship with Jesus! So, for this time, we ask students to make a promise to themselves, to us, and more importantly to God, that Jesus will be their focus.

Passport

It is a requirement of Master’s Commission Ireland-Europe that all students have a valid passport for the purpose of international travel.

Finances

For first, second and third years, the total cost of the Master’s Commission programme is €5,000. The financial payment due dates are as follows:

Tuition: Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit is due: €250.00

Mid September: ‚€700.00 due

Mid October: €700.00 due  Sub-total €1650.00

Housing: Housing fees are due the first of each month: €335.00 due

Over 10 months (€335.00  x10)  Sub-total €3350.00

Total €5000.00

We also request that each student have sufficient funds for personal expenses. It is suggested that each student have a savings account with approximately €600-800 (about €15-20/week), which can be used throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to open a savings account at a local bank. This will take care of any miscellaneous expenses the student may have. This is only a recommendation, NOT a requirement.

Commitment

The benefits that students will gain from Master’s Commission are directly proportionate to the level of commitment shown by each individual. Students must give the Master’s Commission programme highest priority for the entire year in order to achieve maximum results. Therefore, while here at M.C., students will not be permitted to seek employment or join another ministry in the church (without permission) other than the ministries they are placed in through the Master’s Commission programme. This will allow complete freedom for the student to be involved in every aspect of ministry provided by the Master’s Commission. Frankly, students will have little spare time to do anything else besides Master’s- we will keep them pretty busy!

Personal Automobiles

Students are welcome to bring their own transport, with the exception of motorcycles. However, please ensure that all insurance and tax is kept up to date, and that the driver possesses a full license. The class of license held by the driver must also correspond to the vehicle driven. It is important that students remain legal at all times. Any expenses incurred while using the student’s personal vehicle for Master’s Commission outings, will be fully reimbursed (eg. petrol). However, M.C. will not be responsible for the maintenance or upkeep of the vehicle, including personal petrol expenses in general.

Age Requirement

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or have graduated from secondary school/high school. As far as the other end of the scale is concerned, you are never too old to come to Master’s, if you feel it is the will of God for you, however keep in mind that the programme is energetic and youth orientated, and age is taken into consideration when assessing student applications and left to the discretion of the director.
