DAVID McGAHEY (04-06)
One thing I can assure you that MC will do, is push you as far as you think you can go, and then show you that your potential in God is far more than you could have ever imagined. Being consumed with Bible intake, in School of Ministry, and discipleship training, as well as regular church services, really made me stop looking at who I am and rather look at who Christ has made me. The tools training, getting to write dramas, learning skits, dance routines, clowning, sermons, and object lessons, has really helped me distinguish about were I am called and where I’m definitely not called! And yet realising that to reach your generation you sometimes have to step outside of what you would normally do. That’s what MC is to me! It’s stepping out of the box, deciding that I’m gonna be different than others, realising that I have something to offer this generation, and knowing that my life is gonna make a difference.

One thing I’ll say for Master’s, it puts “discipline” in the term ‘discipleship course’. For those of us who have always been full of good intentions to get to know God more, but have never progressed to having a lifestyle of Bible intake, study, worship, prayer and helping the body of Christ, this course sets you on a path which guarantees, daily, all of these. You can’t help but grow, change and be challenged in all areas of your life. MCIE will also help you in finding the answer to those all important questions – “why am I here and what is my call?” It gives you opportunities to learn from people who are called to different ministries and gain experience in each field. There will be plenty of opportunity to introduce new ideas, improve on older ones, especially in areas of outreach to this generation. Here in Ireland, they need to see another lifestyle, they’re longing for hope, they’re searching for the real thing and we have the answer. Ireland needs people who aren’t afraid to be different and who aren’t ashamed of the Gospel. At the end of the year, whether you enter full time ministry or not, you’ll have been trained and equipped with weapons that cause you to succeed in life on every front and live the kind of life you were created to live!

SCOTT BROWN (05-07)
Everyone comes into Master’s Commission with pre-conceived ideas and plans for what they want to get from it. The truth is that it will literally rock your world and no matter what pre-conceived ideas or goals you have, if you come into it with a willing heart to learn and change, God will shatter everything that you knew and give you more then you ever dreamed you could have. This was my story. I needed so much but thought that I wanted only a certain amount in a certain way. He took all of my dreams, all of my hopes, all my ambitions and put them aside. He worked on my heart, taught me character, and helped me discover who I really was. Then he revealed purpose and destiny for my life and gave me a completely new set of dreams, hopes, and ambitions that were no longer my own but his. Yet when I received them they became my own and are greater and more fulfilling then anything I could ever have dreamed of on my own. This is the purpose of Master’s Commission, to equip this generation with what we need to change it and help us find our true selves so that we can do it. If you are truly hungry to discover who you are in Christ and to find confidence in the things that he has for your life, Masters is for you. I can say of myself that I was someone who came in desperate to find myself and even more desperate to deeply and truly find God. The result was he found me and helped me to find myself. My life will never be the same nor will my direction and destination in it. Purpose changes everything.
JOSHUA MORRIS (06-07)
Master's Commission has really changed my life in many ways, firstly it has helped me put off the old man and put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. It has helped me maintain my walk with God, and I feel that I have grown much closer to the Lord. Master's Commission has really filled me with the Word of God, and I know and believe that the Word is living in me. As he says in His Word, Colossians 3:16. To everyone out there, I would encourage you to take up this course, it is an excellent youth motivating Bible study course. I promise you, you will never leave the way you came in, it will change your life for the good!
JORDAN LANGSDALE (08-10)
We come to Master's Commission to 'Find God, Find Ourselves, and Find Our Destiny.' My past two years, here in Master's, have been wonderful. I've learned so much not only from Bible School, but from working with our clubs, our discipleship classes and everyone around us here in Church. Sitting down and thinking of just one instance that specifically stands out as an amazing testimony is a bit difficult... not because there's nothing, but because there is SO much. God is so faithful! Through everything this year, God has been constant. I know He's always there and even when things around us change, He remains the same, unmovable and true (2Thessalonians 3:3). I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to come here and do exactly what I was suppose to do: 'Find God, Find Myself, and Find My Destiny!' I believe that these years have equipped me to be able to stand fast, go out and pursue what God has planned for me. I couldn't be more excited!
EMILY DUESING (08-10)
I was 18 years old, I was at the end of my Senior year. when I looked around at my fellow classmates I saw people who were going to be doctors, musicians, counselors, lawyers, and actors. Then I looked at myself--- honestly the best way I can describe it is that I thought I was going to be a loser. What did I have to offer? Nothing. I already had my fast food job lined up! But God had other plans for me. my class took a senior missions trip to Ireland. While we were here God spoke so clearly to my heart. He said, "Why are you ignoring my plan for you? You have written Me off, you don't trust Me! Listen closely because I haven't written you off... Look around." He didn't have to explain anything else. I knew without a doubt what He was saying to me: "Here, right here [in Ireland] is where you are suppose to be." That was a turning point for my life. I had a goal--- for the first time ever I had a goal.
When I got off that air plane I was one of the most insecure, angry, depressed, and frustrated people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. But glory to God! He heals not only our physical bodies, but our souls as well. He healed mine, over the next ten months, I was challenged in every way possible. I remember before Master's I hated everything about myself, but after, now I have such peace! I now know God loves me, and that He created me and He has a plan for me. I am so thankful for the godly examples that God has given me over the past two years. Everyday I have the opportunity to sit under men and women who are skilled with the Word, who have years of ministry experience, and really live the life that they teach. I think these relationship, more then anything, have drawn out of me things I never thought possible.
God has given me the opportunity to try so many different things. No two days are exactly the same. He has really fed the part of me that longs for adventure. Once you get a taste of God you will want more. The Bible says, "taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8). I have tasted and I have seen! And I want MORE! I am at the end of my second year of Master's Commission and I STILL look forward to the day that the weekend is over and I can go back to classes!
The best thing about the vision of the program is that while we are here they encourage us never to come to the end of new possibilities. Here I have been trained to leave, and to take everything I have learned out into the world. They have encouraged me to truly go out into all the world (Mark 16:15) and that's what I intent to do! None of us are meant to stay still, our lives should be full of movement!! ... Full of fresh-starts, second chances, and endless possibilities!!
